Taylor Jardine
Taylor Kathleen "Tay" Jardine (born March 7, 1990) is an American singer and songwriter. She is the front woman in the pop punk band We Are the In Crowd.
== Early life ==
Jardine grew up in the small town of Liberty, New York. She was very close with her father, Ray Jardine, who was also a musician. Ray died when she was around thirteen years old. In high school, Jardine played on the soccer, basketball, and softball teams; played violin in the orchestra. She was also a straight A student, and was a member of the National Honor Society. However there was a time when the plan for her life was to become an actress instead of a singer. Her first part was a munchkin in The Wizard Of Oz for a school play. She also joined a local scheme called "Children In The Arts" created to encourage local youths to explore creative path. She however gave up her ambition to become an actress when the pressure became too hard to handle while auditioning a big part for the next school's production. She started singing when she was fourteen years old, and listened to artists like P!nk and Alicia Keys and used to play shows with her dad when he went to perform at some open mics in New York. She is a triplet, and the oldest of the three. Her brother's name is Devin, and her sister's name is Lindsey. She also has an older sister named Samantha. Her parents got divorced, and shortly after her father moved to Florida.
